- Dawn has over 20 years experience in the Canadian Forces in a wide range of logistics operations. She has had a variety of challenging roles including operational deployments, and being Aide-de-Camp to the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Governor General of Canada
- Dawn is the Kettle Creek Weddings Regional Director and Life Celebration Specialist in the Bay of Quinte Region of Ontario for Celebrating Life Ministries. She has lead hundreds of Life Celebrations
- Dawn is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada
- She is married to Adam for 20 years, also retired from the Military. They have two four-legged daughters, Shiloh, a St Bernard / Bernese Mountain Dog and a pet "mini" pig Norley
- Dawn loves to lead by example, and is driven by a personal passion to help others; especially to help them plan their future and achieve their goals
- She believes her dedication, professionalism, and skills at establishing strong working relationships will inspire and influence others in navigating their significant moments
- Dawn's passions are traveling, reading, gardening and walking her pets on the beach
